Peako is differentiating its investment and operational strategy from many Australian energy companies by creating commercially valuable partnerships in its primary areas of interest and operation.
In Indonesia, Peako has a formal relationship with local E&P Company “RENCO” to operate the SBA Project which effectively aligns our objectives to ensure Peako maintains the highest level of cost effective operations together with proactive industry and government relationships.
RENCO is owned and managed by senior ex-Unocal and Pertamina executives and has significant technical and commercial skillsets, plus an extensive local network which combine to reduce Peako’s investment risk and facilitate management of local projects.
In the Philippines, Peako has a local partner with a local office to manage its role in the Cadlao Project, to optimise economic returns and secure additional projects in the country to build the Company’s portfolio.
In Myanmar, Peako has a local partner “Chinthe” with an office based in Yangon. Chinthe is owned and managed by an experienced Myanmar international business group, with senior ex-MOGE (Myanmar National Oil Company) executives with significant technical and commercial skillsets, plus an extensive local network.
